Day to day itinerary
While the itinerary is based on suggested accommodation, every journey is fully tailor-made, with our specialists ready to adapt options to your preferences and budget.
You land in Denpasar and are met by your driver for a smooth transfer to Sanur, one of Bali's quieter coastal neighbourhoods. The rest of the day is yours — take a walk along the beach, settle into the resort, and ease into island time.
After breakfast and check-out, you fly west to Sumba — one of Indonesia's most raw and undervisited islands. Upon landing at Tambolaka, your driver is waiting. The afternoon is free for rest and first impressions.
A relaxed morning at Maringi before transferring to the design-forward Cap Karoso resort on Sumba's western coast. Spend the afternoon at the beach or pool — there's nowhere you need to be.
A full day with no agenda. Cap Karoso sits beside a stretch of wild Sumbanese coastline — a good day to swim, read, explore the resort's surroundings, or simply do nothing at all.
The day opens with a walk through the striking rice terraces of Waikelo Sawah — terraced paddies, cave springs, a river stretch, and a small waterfall at trail's end. You may pass farmers at work in the fields. After lunch at a local restaurant, the afternoon takes you to Praijing, a traditional hilltop village with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. The day ends at Lapopu Waterfall — a 15-minute walk across a bamboo bridge leads to one of Sumba's most impressive natural features. (Bring a swimsuit)
