“We normally do not book private tours but they came in at a reasonable price. Both organizations did a super job, they covered all local travel (air flights, ferries, and cars), hotels (with great breakfasts), guides and drivers, plus fees for all the sites. The hotels were 4 to 3.5 stars on the North American scale with 5 star service. They delivered on what we planned and then some.”

“Everything about our 15 day Kekayon Journeys private tour from Jakarta to Bali was above and beyond our expectations. We knew up front that we had a great itinerary, planned jointly with Febby from Travel Local whose knowledge, patience, efficiency and professionalism made this an easy task for us at our end and she spent much time at her end to make it exactly what we wanted. The on-the-ground delivery of that itinerary by Kekayon Journeys was amazing. Diwan, our local contact person was available morning and night and responded promptly to any query we had regardless of when we asked, as well as giving us exact information re daily pickups so that everything always ran smoothly. Drivers were never late, always very professional, helpful, friendly, and safe drivers. The guides were full of local knowledge and taught us a lot about Indonesia, as well as being lovely friendly people and we greatly enjoyed their company. The car was very comfortable. All our guides and drivers spoke excellent English so communication was never a problem. The hotels Febby chose for us were absolutely amazing, as were the train journeys. We couldn’t recommend this company highly enough. Not only was it an excellent adventure, it was amazing value for money.”

“Reisen mit Travellocal war eine rundum positive Erfahrung. Wir sind als 2 Ehepaare gereist und fühlten uns von Anfang bis Ende perfekt betreut. Von der Reiseplanung bis zur Betreuung auf der Reise ..es gibt nichts zu meckern. Unsere Reise beinhaltete sehr viele Abschnitte ( auch mit einigen Inlandsflügen),die durcdacht arrangiert waren. Die Betreuung vor Ort war perfekt,Reiseleiter, Fahrer immer sympatisch und kompetent.( und super deutsch sprechend) Die Reisebausteine und Hotels wurden mit grosser Sorgfalt ausgewählt. “Die Reise war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Seit Jahren ein Traum von mir Orang Utans in freier Wildbahn zu erleben und meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Wir hatten eine tolle Crew mit Guide Teguth und eine hervorragende Köchin an Bord, konnten so viele Tiere sehen, wie es niemand erwartet hat. Unsere Fahrer und Guides waren rundum gut informiert, extrem hilfreich und super freundlich. Von Diwan von Kekayon Journeys wurden wir die ganze Zeit super betreut und ich war immer wieder erstaunt wie schnell meine Fragen beantwortet wurden. Einfach super! Schon die Planung verlief durch Tuti einwandfrei, obwohl meine ursprüngliche Reisepartnerin mit Rücktritt alles erschwerte. Tuti hatte alles im Griff und half mir und neuer Reisepartnerin die Traumreise doch durchzuführen. Vielen Dank! Eine kleine kritische Anmerkung gibt es. Nach langer Anreise im Flugzeug kamen wir abends im Hotel an und mussten schon um 3 Uhr morgens wieder raus um weiterzureisen, das würde ich nicht nochmal machen. Alles in allem würde ich TravelLocal zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Große Klasse!”

“This trip was really amazing !! Our guide, Allan Conda, was fantastic... a really refreshing guy that loves his job and it shows. The boat was really comfortable and clean. The crew was a perfect combination of respectful and genuine people. Plus, the food and drink was amazing. Overall I recommend this trip without any doubt, thank you to all the team. Same thing apply to the Ecolodge in Bukit Lawang. Maurice and the local guide were amazing and very knowledgeable. A lot of animals encounter. Great room and food Marianne & Guillaume”
